Join us for a rooftop concert with lead vocalist and bass player from Swedish pop outfit Eggstone and the American indie rock band The Mommyheads.
The Mommyheads
A leading light in the mid-1990s indie rock scene, the Mommyheads were formed in 1987 and quickly became a presence at the famous CBGB’s in NYC. With 14 full-length releases all charting high in the Top 100 of College and Community radio and hundreds of shows under their belts, the band will release their 15th LP Coney Island Kid on Sept 20th. Their recent output has also garnered glowing reviews; Relix proclaiming “the Mommyheads are the Godfathers of Baroque Prog Pop” and Stereo Embers boasting “they are more creatively alive then they’ve ever been”.
Per Sunding from Eggstone
Per Sunding, lead vocalist and bass player from Swedish pop outfit Eggstone will play the group's music for the first time ever in the USA, backed by members of The Mommyheads, The Apples in Stereo, and the B-52s.
