The artist duo Lundahl & Seitl will present two art works at House of Sweden on September 24-25: ‘The Memor (2019 - 2022),’ made with co-artist ScanLAB Projects, and ‘Symphony of a Missing Room (2009 - ongoing).’ Both works explore how technology connects, and disconnects, us from each other and from other life forms and processes. Visitors will experience virtual reality technology, sightless goggles, and three-dimensional audio as a guide leads them through an instructed choreography of movement and a synchronized touch. The program is a collaboration with the Consulate General of Sweden in New York and the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C. and is part of Lundahl & Seitl´s engagement with the MIT ACT program, by invitation from Urbonas Studio. It includes presentations at MIT Media Lab (September 19-20) and ONX Studio in New York (September 28-October 2) and will conclude with an artist talk and conversation with Barbara London at Scandinavia House in New York on October 2.
